Bhindi sabzi

Ingredients:

  1. Methi
  2. Jeera
  3. Ajwain
  4. Green Chilly
  5. Bhindi aka Lady Finger
  6. Mustard oil
  7. lemon

Time Taken: 

Approximately 20 Minutes

Procedure:

  1. Take some oil in Kadhai and put it in on low flame burner
  2. Heat the oil for 2 minutes
  3. Put few Methi seeds in hot oil 
  4. When Methi seeds become pink, add Ajwain & Jeera in kadhai
  5. When Ajwain & Jeera attain pinkish color add minced Green Chilly, Haldi and Dhaniya Powder to it 
  6. Cook the mixture on low flame for approximately 2 min
  7. Add chopped Bhindi to the mixture in the kadhai, mix everything & cover the Kadhai
  8. After 5-7 minutes uncover the kadhai, mix again & cover the Kadhai again
  9. After 5-7 minutes, uncover the kadhai, add salt as per your taste & mix the sabzi
  10. Now Do Not cover the Kadhai and let the sabzi cook for 5-7 minutes. 
  11. Turn off the burner & squirt lemon over the sabzi
  12. Serve it hot and enjoy the terrific home cooked Bhindi ki Sabzi

NOTE:

  1. Do Not overcook Methi seeds, Green Chilly, Ajwain & Jeera. Ensure that they do not become black.
